Eugene F. Battisti Jr.
Eugene was born on October 27th, 1961, in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. His father was a dentist in the small town of Greensburg, Pennsylvania and his mother was employed as a registered nurse with both of them graduating from the university of Pittsburgh in 1952. Eugene attended Greensburg Central Catholic High school, graduating in 1979. He then attended the University of Pittsburgh from 1980 until 1983 majoring in pre-law and political science in preparation for attending law school. He attended Capital University Law School and Graduate Tax Center in Columbus, Ohio from 1983 until 1986. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar on May 11, 1987; admitted to the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1994 and finally admitted to the Tennessee Bar in August 2006. He was also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio in September 1987.
Eugene has been actively engaged in the private practice of law from September of 1987 through November 2022. Eugene's private practice focused largely on the areas of domestic relations and family law; insurance defense, civil litigation, business formation and relations, real estate transactions and State Court appeals.
Eugene enjoys summer weekends at his cottage and on his classic wooden boats located on the south shore of Lake Erie. He is an avid fisherman on several of the great lakes as well as the Gulf of Mexico. He is also "Dad" to his beloved hound dogs which travel along with him to the Lake every weekend.
Eugene's present position, as intake attorney at Doucet Law, makes him primarily responsible for connecting potential clients to the Firm by placing all of our clients with the most qualified and appropriate attorneys from within. This skill operates to ensure their availability and readiness to handle all of the complexities and the intricacies of each of their respective legal needs.
